Zoom, Zoom, Zoom...

I just got done talking with Charity and she informs me that she's 'up town' cruisin' around on her Zuma. My first thought is what the heck is a Zuma? So, she proceeds to tell me that her and Ben (her soon to be husband) have bought 2 Zuma's to ride around on. They are pretty much like a mo-ped (did I spell that right?) Anyways - it just cracks me up to think of my friends driving around on little scooters... so I've enclosed the website where you can check these Zuma's out! http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/products/modelhome/151/0/home.aspx
Charity's is the black one with red stripes and Ben got the blue one - I can't wait to go cruising around with Charity some day! :)

Having a nephew is the best!

For those of you who don't know... Mark and Tonja have recently adopted a little boy - Anthony James. He is definitely on the top of Damon and I's most favorite things! Recently we went to Wal-mart to get some Anthony 'necessities' before we went to visit for Easter. Damon is so excited about being Uncle that I have yet to actually pick out a toy that I think he might like. We ended up getting him a big ball pit which only came equiped with 25 ball - definitely not enough. So we picked up another 100 to add to the fun! I think the Hanson's are loving all the colorful balls around the house - all the balls a little boy could ask for really!

Tonja has told us that the things that we are getting Anthony are not things he needs... apparently she doesn't know what the job title is for an aunt and uncle - it is not about necessity! It is about FUN! We are certainly not worried about him having all the things he is going to need in his life - with Grandma Kathy and Carol around - the kid is set! With Damon, Manda and Erik around there are going to be fun memories and ridiculous gifts to last a life time! :)

Life is Good...

It has been a week or so since I've been able to post anything on our blog site... either I'm lazy, we don't have an exciting life or both! :)

This weekend we are dog sitting for some friends... his name is Rex. He is a standard poodle and such a sweetie! We have really enjoyed having him in the house which makes us think about possibly getting doggie number 2 again. Who knows if we'll actually go through with it but it always creates that thought that maybe we are ready to move on from the horrible lost of Ernie almost a year ago. I'm pretty sure that Damon would have one of every type of dog if allowed - so we'll have to do some research to see just what type of dog would fit our family and then take a vote. :) I'm pretty sure that Ned will be game... someone to play with again! :)

I wanted to add this picture of Damon and our neighbor Lester. Damon has been working on a 'project' in the garage for a few days and today he finished it and was able to try it out. He has made a blade for our lawn mower so that he can now; blade, mow, multch, pick up leaves and snow blow. It is crazy to think that we spent only $100 - from a Manny's Shopper ad - and it has lasted us this long AND Damon is able to change and adjust it to his liking every year. Anyways, when I looked outside I see that Lester has gotten out his scooter and is making figure eights in the alley. At first I thought maybe they were racing but as it turns out I think he was just trying to get Damon's attention. It worked. So after some blading... they were able to meet in the alley to solve the world's problems and how Damon can fix the blade to work better - always a work in progress.
We are getting ready to have a BBQ with some friends tonight... I can't wait to have grilled ANYTHING with a margarita! As my mama says... it's 5 o'clock somewhere!

Adventurous... I think so

Well, I decided that the Tuttle family could use a little excitment - therefore, we are introducing oursevles to the world of blogging. :) I'm not exactly sure what it is that we will have to blog about each day but I figured I could share adventurous stories that happen to us through out our weeks. If anything, there are always Nedward - our wonderful dog!

So, I figured that I would share this picture with the world... our pride and joy! :)
