Kit Kat...

Kitty is such a helper! I'm pretty sure she is shy a few brain cells but entertaining none the less! :) Here she is trying to catch the arrow...Enjoy!

**You also have to love Damon in the background - apparently Asher gets his looks from his daddy! :)

Wowsers...

I was looking at some pictures from this past year and still just find the belly so amazing! It was fun to see my belly grow throughout the months. 4 1/2 months

5 1/2 months

6 1/2 months

And the next few picture were the front of my Thank You cards from the baby showers that we had and some other fun shots..

Livin' & Lovin' Every Moment...

There are truly no words to describe just how wonderful being a mommy is. It is definitely my most favorite thing to do! It is such a blessing that every new day I get to be Asher's mommy. Damon and I get to nurture and raise this beautiful baby and one can't help but feel totally blessed to have this opportunity.

I would be lying if I said that I wasn't a little nervous about being a parent. I was worried that life as I knew it would be over and I was right. :) It is awesome! There are definitely things that I haven't been able to participate in like - snowmobiling, ice fishing and sledding - just to name a few; however, what a trade off! I feel like at this moment in time these activities are being put off but think about how much fun they are going to be in a few years when Asher is big enough to enjoy them! I can't wait for our first ice fishing trip, snowmobile ride and sledding adventures as a family.

My life as I knew it has changed forever. I may never sleep through the night again (it seems like that sometimes), I will never wear a two piece thong bikini due to those stretch marks and I know for sure that my boobs will never be the same but what a blessing! These are the best sleep nights a mommy could ask for and such a small price to pay for such a awesome opportunity!

I know I'm just a beginner and have much to learn but I'm lovin' every moment of being a mommy and look forward to what the future holds for Team Tuttle!

Love you Asher John!

I'm Zero...

Auntie Tonja got us these really cool stickers - they range from 0 - 12 months and allow us to track just how much our little man grows from month to month!
Here is his "I'm Zero" photo shoot...

Because I'm Just Too Cute...

and my mama can't put down the camera... enjoy!

My 1st Outings...

We've only been out twice in the three weeks that Asher has been home. We took a day trip to Bemidji to visit Grandpa Rog and Grandma Debbie! Asher did great for his first hour & half drive... no cries! Here he is bundled up and ready to go!
Spending quality time with the grandparents - he loves to be held! :)
Our second outing?? The furniture store... he he! We figured that we wouldn't know anyone that would insist on touching him - we were right. We shopped for the basement furniture without a peep from baby and no harrasment from anyone in the store! :)

Three Week Check Up

We have made it three weeks and Asher is doing great! It is hard to believe how fast time flies - before we know it we'll be sleeping through the night! HA! :) At our appointment Asher has gained 2lbs - weighing in at 8lb 4oz (we left the hospital at 6lb 4oz) and grew an 1/2 inch which makes him exactly 20 inches long. He is only in the 25% for height... imagine, here I was hoping he wouldn't take after his parents! :)
Here's daddy trying to comfort me - it's cold on this table!

Dr. Tofte - now that mama is feeling better, the camera had to come out at the appointment! I'm sure this will be just the first of many! :)

I love this picture of my two boys (except that D has a funny expression!)... Asher has a great smile though!

The Basement...

We are not completely done with the basement project; however, we are to the point of being able to enjoy it! Here are some before and after shots, as well as, some pictures of the furniture we picked out for the space... Yep, the couch didn't want to go - so in true Tuttle spirit - we cut out the door. Bring back the couch you say - HA! Like a glove...

(Yes, that is Asher on the couch... sleepin' like a baby! :))
We can't wait to have company now - we've got room! Yeah! Oh, and did we check out the carpet? Never really thought we would want carpet in our house; however, with it being in a colder basement we
figured that was our best bet for warmth! :)
